Akemi Maniwa Joins the Team
Game designer and Japanese cultural studies scholar Akemi Maniwa is helping us design a Japanese themed paper miniature set with art by Neil Que.
You can find some of Akemi’s work at her Itch.io page or follow her on Twitter. She has also made games for Doomed Legion Games and works as a professional video game designer for her day job.
The planned set will be compatible with Shogi, Chess, D&D and other games, and include a new printable battlemap board.

Ryan and Pontus are still working on putting together the materials for John Ridley‘s Medieval chess set. The finished version should be ready around the beginning of August. Expect more updates soon.
